Karen Deneka

Karen Deneka has walked the beaches of LBI long before she began documenting them through her photos. Purchasing her first home back in 1995, Karen raised a family on these beaches. She led a life, seeing the beauty of LBI unfold around her through her husband, her daughter and their many friends and family.

Karen began her real estate career on the island, then moved to Brevard County, FL and continued her Real Estate career, always keeping their home on LBI. During her career, Karen has captured the beauty of this world in more ways than just photography. She has opened up her home to friends and strangers alike, always offering them a smiling face and a hot meal. Allowing this strong sense of hospitality to build into the foundation of who she is. Karen moved back to New Jersey full time to focus on her family and her real estate. She sits on the Membership Committee for Soroptimist an International Organization formed to aid and empower girls and women.
